Embedded play surface failed

Play with embed shows each client in the editor through a shared GPU surface. A player could not create its surface (play.embed), the owner could not take over its handles, or a resize failed. The world is not started (or keeps its previous surface size).

#Common causes

• The player's GPU cannot share images with this process (see ARA_GPU_EXTERNAL in the message).
• The player exited or was killed while its handles were being duplicated.
• The requested size is zero or larger than 8192 pixels per edge.

#Fixes

• Read the message for the underlying GPU error and fix the driver or adapter setup it names.

• Start Play again; use play.status to see whether the player faulted.

• Play in a window (window: true) when shared surfaces are unavailable on this machine.
