Legacy material syntax
The material uses rejected draft syntax. Parsing returns diagnostics rather than accepting the draft, and a recoverable draft receives a material.text.apply source replacement. Texture-slot migration chooses a semantic fallback because it cannot infer the original asset.
Common causes
- Material headers or declarations embed draft asset/node IDs, or values use array literals or numeric texture slots.
- Static parameters use explicit
variantsarrays, custom calls usecustom.prefixes, or cost declarations use positional arrays.
