Missing material reference
A material expression, output, function or command refers to an unavailable binding or operation. The affected material cannot pass checking or projection; a command targeting a missing node or field is rejected.
Common causes
- A call argument or output points at a deleted or absent binding.
- An operation or custom function name is unknown.
- A custom function lacks a unique nonreserved name, valid input names, documentation or a nonempty body.
Fixes
Restore the missing declaration or reconnect the consumer with
material.connectto an existing node and port.Correct the operation name or add the custom function definition in
material.text.apply.Give custom functions unique names, distinct identifier inputs, documentation and a Slang body; retry commands against current node IDs.
