Override target missing

An override targets an entity or value that is absent from the resolved prefab. That override cannot be applied; other instance content can still resolve, but the document has an error.

#Common causes

• The source prefab removed or renamed the targeted entity or keyed item.
• A removed entry eliminated the entity before overrides were applied.
• The override's nested ID path is wrong.

#Fixes

• Remove the obsolete override with ara check --fix <file> using the supplied removal fix.

• If the change is still needed, inspect the current instance with ara inspect and apply prefab.override.set to the correct entity and path.
