Malformed asset reference

An asset reference does not follow the accepted syntax and cannot be resolved. The value fails validation; this is distinct from a well-formed reference to a missing asset.

#Common causes

• A missing @, an empty reference or a malformed ID after #.
• An absolute path, backslashes, empty path segments or a .. segment.

#Fixes

• Use a project-relative reference such as @prefabs/crate.prefab#pf_91fd, with / separators.

• Supply @path or @#id when only one half is known, then run ara fmt <file> to fill the other half from the asset index.
