Parent does not exist

A record's parent is missing, malformed or addresses a child that does not exist in a resolved prefab. Document validation fails; a transaction introducing this error cannot commit.

#Common causes

• A parent was deleted or its ID was mistyped.
• A slash-separated parent points inside a plain entity rather than a prefab instance.

#Fixes

• Use ara do entity.reparent to select an existing parent, or make the entity a root when appropriate.

• ara check --fix <file> can apply the offered removal of a missing parent; check that a prefab still has exactly one root afterwards.
