Script runtime could not start

The host could not load or initialize the .NET or NativeAOT script runtime, or a runtime entry point reported a startup failure. C# execution is unavailable for the failed initialization.

#Common causes

• Missing runtime libraries, host configuration, Ara.Host artifacts or the NativeAOT entry library.
• Runtime initialization throws or the script API handshake fails.
• The process already hosts .NET with a different runtime directory or Edit and Continue setting.

#Fixes

• Correct the missing path, library or initialization error in the message and provide the matching .NET 10 runtime or NativeAOT artifacts.

• Restart the process when changing runtime configuration; only one .NET runtime configuration can be active per process.
