Ara programs are running from the installation

Replacing an installation needs every program started from that folder to exit (Ara Hub, its service, the editor, players, ara command lines and MCP servers). Silent setup reports them and changes nothing; the window lists them, offers Retry and stops the Hub service through ara hub shutdown. Setup never terminates processes.

#Common causes

• Ara Hub, an editor, a player or an agent's ara mcp started from the installation is still open.
• ara hub shutdown failed, or the service did not exit within 15 seconds.

#Fixes

• Close the listed programs (agent sessions using Ara's MCP server included), then run setup again or select Retry.

• Stop the Hub service with ara hub shutdown; it starts again when it is needed.
