Invalid installer image or payload

The installer stub is not an unsigned Windows PE image, or the assembled installer has an invalid trailer, archive range or payload hash. Assembly or extraction stops before installation is published.

#Common causes

• A different executable or an already signed stub was supplied for assembly.
• The installer was truncated or its appended archive or trailer was modified.

#Fixes

• Rebuild and pin an unsigned ara-export-installer stub, then regenerate the installer from a complete payload.

• Apply Authenticode signing only after the payload is appended; obtain a fresh complete package if an assembled installer is corrupt.
