Invalid crash configuration

Crash settings or the player's build-scoped crash configuration are invalid. Configuring an upload receiver requires HTTPS and nonempty consent text; player configuration must use ara.crash.config/1 and a 64-digit hexadecimal build ID.

Common causes

  • An upload endpoint is insecure, contains a line break or has no disclosure text.
  • The deployed crash configuration has the wrong format or an invalid build ID.

Fixes

  • Omit uploadEndpoint to keep uploads disabled, or configure an HTTPS receiver and text explaining the proposed upload.

  • Regenerate the build's crash configuration through export rather than editing its format or build identity by hand.
