Conflicting plugin permission

Two declarations with the same permission element type and name have different attributes. Merging fails instead of silently changing the permission's scope.

Common causes

  • Plugins disagree on maxSdkVersion or usesPermissionFlags for the same permission.

Fixes

  • Make the declarations for the named permission identical after deciding the intended permission scope, or keep one authoritative declaration.
